Let’s face it, any electric ride is a big investment with regular maintenance and servicing required to ensure your electric skateboard, bike or scooter stays in tip-top shape for years to come.
You should have your e-ride serviced at least once a year (though, we recommend once every 6 months) to ensure everything is running as it should.
Fortunately, we’ve teamed up with some of Australia’s top electric ride experts to deliver you a first-class repair and servicing experience. Of course, if you want to use a local expert, that’s totally fine, too.
To get your service or repair sorted, we’ve got a three step process to get everything underway
Perhaps it’s a punctured tyre, bearings that need to be replaced or you’d like to service your e-ride. Whatever the issue, simply email us or give us a quick call. We’ll ask you a few questions to get a clear picture of the issue.
We’ll also need to know where you’re located so we can reach out to the closest repair and service centre in our network and advise them you’ll be paying a visit.
This form will ask for your personal details (name, contact phone number etc.) and ask for more information on the issues/problems or servicing you require. This form is important to complete as it gives everyone - including the team here at Wired Rides and our repair experts - all the bits and pieces we need to know about your servicing requirements.
We’ll keep this information on file for future use when you decide to touch base with us for your next service or repair.
This repair and servicing form will only take you a few minutes to complete.
Once we have the form in our hands, we move onto step 3...
Pricing varies depending on the job.
For example, a quick service could be as little as $100. A major service could be around $200 to $300. Whereas if your e-ride requires specialist parts, we’ll need to reach out to our repair centre to check availability of those parts and pricing.
If additional parts or servicing is required when the chosen experts looks at your e-ride, we’ll be sure to contact you before work is carried out to ensure you’re happy to pay extra.
Again, you will know ahead of time the costs to service and repair your e-ride.
Once the price is taken care of and the servicing or repairs are booked in, it’s time to drop your e-ride off and have our experts get stuck in.
Transporting your e-ride to the chosen repair centre is your responsibility. In some cases you may need to courier your bike, scooter or skateboard to the chosen location and those costs will be paid by you in full. Any return costs to have the e-ride shipped back to you, are also your responsibility.
